Hello! Morecambe - The Secret Galleries is a two-part project taking place in Morecambe, near Lancaster in the North West of England.

The business part of things is The Secret Gallery Shop. This is in Unit 6, The Plaza - there's a map to the left of the page. Here, I stock the art and craft of local makers. There's a lot of unsung talent here in Morecambe. This is where to come for unique one-off gifts you just can't get anywhere else. I'm open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The community art side of things is just called The Secret Galleries. This is a not-for-profit project. In fact, I don't have any funding at all right now, but I am filling in the forms so I can expand this right across the town, which will be Community Regeneration Arts in Morecambe (CRAM). Basically, the empty shops are an eye-sore, right? It's called Slack Space. I've invited local people to use this space to show their art work, and it's really taken off. As an artist, I don't exist alone. I have been working with two very talented people - a writer, Bryn Colvin, and an artist, Tom Brown. They have been developing a range of project and I am very excited about their latest project - a webcomic which launches in September.
